Mary Ungerleider

Mary has been a video editor for more than 30 years. Mary’s media credits include The Life and Times of William Shatner (editor) and Mandrake, the Magician (director and editor). She has edited documentaries about East Timor, Haiti, and Tofino (British Columbia) and short-form dramas. Her work has been nominated for and won many awards, including Leo, Emmy, Women in Film and Video. Early in her career Mary edited commercials at Mad River Post (Los Angeles) and Circle Productions (Vancouver). Mary edits many of the reports Directions produces and has developed video material about teaching, pharmacy, and parental engagement for several projects. When Mary is not glued to her screen, she designs patterns and sews – most recently masks for the protection of carers in senior residences.
